W&M's Daly reaches 400 wins; Trott again named CAA Rookie of the Week

William and Mary women's soccer coach John Daly earned his 400th career win Sunday at UNC Greensboro with a 2-0 win.

Juniors Sami Grasso and Rachel Moore scored as W&M improved to 5-2.

Daly became the sixth Division I head coach to win 400 career matches.

W&M joined only UConn in having both men's and women's soccer coaches to get 400 wins. Former Tribe men's soccer coach Al Albert had 401 wins in 33 years.

Redshirt junior goalkeeper Grace Smith and redshirt freshman Sarah Segan won CAA weekly awards on Monday, Smith taking player of the week honors while Segan was rookie of the week.

Smith posted consecutive shutouts last week and had 13 saves against VCU while Segan scored the winner against the Rams.
