Jamestown Settlement to host citizenship ceremony for children of naturalized U.S. citizens

JAMESTOWN – A Citizenship Ceremony for children of naturalized United States citizens will be held March 28 at Jamestown Settlement. The event is hosted by the Williamsburg Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution and the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation.

Forty-five people from 27 countries - the youngest age 11 - will take the Oath of Allegiance to the United States and receive formal acknowledgement of their citizenship.  The ceremony begins at 2 p.m. and is open to the public on a space-available basis.
