The Virginia House of Delegates gave metal heads something to bang their heads to Friday — legislation that slaps at concert giant Ticketmaster.
House Bill 1825 would require the ticket agent to let Virginia buyers resell their tickets on the "internet ticketing platform of their choice." Del. Dave Albo wrote the bill after he bought tickets to an Iron Maiden concert, couldn't go, and learned that he could only resell the ticket on Ticketmaster's online sales board.
Pitching his bill on the House floor Friday, Albo broke out some deep cuts. He went back to 1979, the first time he saw Judas Priest and Iron Maiden.
