The Greater Williamsburg area housing market is healthy heading into 2018, according to the Williamsburg Area Association of Realtors.
“I think we are on firm footing in terms of the Williamsburg marketplace. We have a very active market in terms of sellers coming into the market and buyers looking for property,” said Kimber Smith, WAAR president.
The overall median sale price for single-family detached homes was up 0.6 percent to $342,150, but was down 0.6 percent to $263,290 for single-family attached properties compared to December 2016, according to a news release from the WAAR.
