A Williamsburg man who worked as a custodian at the College of William and Mary was acquitted of sexual battery charges this week, according to online court records.
Bruce M. Bartlett, 53, was found not guilty Thursday of sexual battery, according to Williamsburg/James City County General District Court records.
In June, Bartlett was accused of sexually abusing a university employee, university officials said in a July 1 e-mail.
Bartlett had worked for the university's facilities management full-time since 2011. He was on administrative leave and banned from campus after he was charged.
