Lafayette High School senior receives Teenager of the Year award

The Kiwanis Club of Williamsburg awarded Brook Crookston a $2500 scholarship that will go towards her college tuition in the Fall. Crookston, a senior from Lafayette High School, was voted 2017 Teenager of the Year. She has a 4.323 GPA, the third highest GPA among all seniors in her high school. She is a member of the National Honor Society, the Spanish Honor Society, Rambassadors (a student peer program), Student Government Association Senior Class Vice President, President of the Math Honor Society and Captain of the Scholastic Bowl.
