WILLIAMSBURG — Isaac Davis, 18, was perched at the top of a ladder on the edge of the stage at Williamsburg Christian Academy on Thursday afternoon. Dianna Lindsay, the head of high school, looked on in horror as he stood 12 feet above the ground, fiddling with the stage lighting.
WCA was about to have another moment in the spotlight, and it was imperative the spotlight work.
In 30 minutes, the WCA student body would fill the all-purpose room to cheer as corporate executives from Scranton Products presented Lindsay with a giant check good for $50,000 in new lockers and $7,500 in scholarship funds.
