The Strangest Plant in the World

Dr. Lytton Musselman, Mary Payne Hogan Professor of Botany at Old Dominion University, will speak on "The Strangest Plant in the World" at the January 18, 2018, meeting of the John Clayton Chapter of the Virginia Native Plant Society. Dr. Musselman's research over the past five decades has centered on parasitic flowering plants, especially those that cause extensive crop damage in semi-arid regions of the world. This work has resulted in many publications.
