WILLIAMSBURG - Jamestown High School set a class of about 300 graduates loose on the world Saturday - or at least a good part of the United States.

According to Jamestown Principal Catherine Worley, members of the class of 2015 will be attending colleges in "18 state and Washington, D.C." in the fall.

"This class has five National Merit Scholarship finalists and seven National Merit Commended Students," she said.

The class also has three honors graduates.

Jamestown's 2015 valedictorian and salutatorian are Mayee Chen and Christy Coghlan respectively.
