West Point students portray fairy tales in new light

WEST POINT— The hours of hard work were evident Friday afternoon as West Point students rehearsed the musical "Into the Woods." While the students laughed together between scenes, the tone was professional as they acted out pieces of the performance.

The play, set to hit the stage March 10-12, follows several fairy tale characters through a series of interwoven stories. Although the characters are familiar to both adults and children, they are brought into a new light in "Into the Woods," director Beverly Hammond said.
