For the ninth straight year, the Virginia Symphony Orchestra (VSO) opened its Williamsburg concert season with a free performance at the amphitheater at Lake Matoaka, located on the campus of the College of William and Mary. Under the baton of the Symphony's Resident Conductor, Benjamin Rous, the Orchestra performed a variety of classical and contemporary music which was intended to give the audience a preview of selections that the Symphony will be performing during its 2016 - 2017 Season.
