WEST POINT — The Young Irelanders make its debut April 30 at the Robinson/Olsson Auditorium.
The group of eight musicians weave together traditional Irish and Celtic music, with folk, world, jazz, country and pop, according to an Arts Alive news release announcing the performance.
The Young Islanders have recorded with Ronnie Wood (of the Rolling Stones), shared a stage with Bono (of U2) and performed at private parties hosted by Sting, according to the release.
The show will begin at 7 p.m., and it is sponsored by New Kent Junior Women's Club.
Prior to the performance, the Visual Arts Committee of Arts Alive will host an opening of the All Media Community...
