With respect to the officer who had to rescue the dog at Busch Gardens, I send my utmost respect to you for all your hard work. Animals and children cannot be left in this heat. It is happening all over Williamsburg — not just in inner city areas or out-in-country areas. There are dogs forced to live in extreme cold and extreme heat, tied with no water and no food, and I don’t see animal control doing much about it except leaving a notice on a door, while the dog suffered for years. So, kudos to that officer. We all respect you and thank you.
