Sen. Thomas K. "Tommy" Norment, R-James City, praised Pete Snyder's barbecue Tuesday evening. "This is only pork in politics we want," Norment said, as more than 100 people rallied with local Republican candidates at the Country Inn & Suites. "Hopefully on Nov. 3 we'll be marinating some Democrats," Norment said.
The crowd roared.
Snyder, who unsuccessfully sought the Republican nomination for Lt. Governor in 2013, served his famous barbecue to attendees who gathered as a light rain poured down.
