Cash will have a new face. Last week, the U.S. Treasury announced abolitionist Harriet Tubman would grace the front of the $20 bill in the coming decade.
Tubman will become the first African-American featured on U.S. currency and the first woman in more than 100 years.
"The decision to put Harriet Tubman on the new $20 was driven by thousands of responses we received from Americans young and old," U.S. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew said in an open letter posted to the department's website.
