Williamsburg House of Mercy rallies the community in giving more than 1400 Christmas gifts

The annual Williamsburg House of Mercy Christmas Angel Tree resulted in generous donations of more than 1200 gifts for 560 children, plus 200 gifts for local nursing home residents, and an additional 50 gifts to the local homeless. The local parishioners of Saint Bede Catholic Church donated the bulk of the children's and nursing home gifts with weekly collections at Sunday Masses. More than 30 volunteers of all ages played "packing day elves," sorting and gathering each child's gifts into family bins.
