Keep it loose
I'm calling about tightening up the Last Word about cars leaving space—too much space. Well, I've been to several driving schools -- tractor trailers, trucks and cars. All rules are stated the same: You must be able to see the tires touching the ground on the car in front of you. Sometimes it's a car length, sometimes it's a car and a half, and if you're in a tractor trailer truck, it's about two car lengths or 45 feet. So, that's where the rule comes from.
We keep wondering how and why more and more retail stores go up- not in empty stores of course but always more trees down, more buildings and asphalt...
