New indoor facility a hit for William and Mary baseball

WILLIAMSBURG – In past years, snowfall like the one that recently blanketed Plumeri Park’s field would have greatly disrupted the William and Mary baseball team’s preseason preparations.

The addition of the Plumeri Indoor Baseball Practice Facility is making life a little easier for third-year Tribe coach Brian Murphy and staff. The new 5,700 square foot building has three areas for batting and pitching, complete with netting and pitching mounds, and got its first use last week when the wintry weather visited town.
