Greene's 42 points, 11 boards lead WCA to 2-0 start

Cle'von Greene scored 42 points Thursday in Williamsburg Christian Academy's 84-69 boys basketball win at home over Nansemond-Suffolk Academy of Tidewater Conference of Independent Schools.

Greene hit a trio of 3-pointers, was 16-for-19 at the free throw and had 11 rebounds. 

It was the best offensive output in an Eagles uniform for Greene, who transferred to WCA from Grafton before last season.

"It was all patience," Eagles coach Chris Brown said. "He attacked the rim today. He just finished, got fouled and had several and-ones."

Da'Shawn Cook scored 20 points for WCA (2-0) and Ra'Shawn Cook had 10 points.
