W&M women win 3rd CAA tilt at UNC Wilmington; Shoeless Showdown set for Thursday vs JMU

Four Tribe players scored in double figures as the William and Mary women handled UNC Wilmington 57-43 Sunday at Trask Coliseum.

W&M (13-2, 3-1 Colonial Athletic Association) began the game on an 18-2 run and limited UNCW (5-11, 0-5) to just four field goals in the first and fourth quarters.

Tribe sophomore Bianca Boggs scored a game-high 13 points and had three rebounds, two assists, two blocks and four steals. Senior Alexandra Masaquel scored 12 points, her 10th straight game in double figures. She also had four rebounds and four steals.

Senior Marlena Tremba had 11 points, while freshman reserve Victoria Reynolds chipped in 10 points.
