Tabb girls basketball team tops Jamestown behind Williams' 31 points

Tabb senior forward Kenna Williams might be a dozen years too young to remember Michael Jordan’s legendary “Flu Game” in the 1997 NBA Finals, but she put on her best impression of it in the Tigers’ girls basketball team’s 64-49 win against Jamestown on Friday.

Williams posted a game-high 31 points before she exited in the fourth quarter due to illness. She spent the last four minutes of the game with her head hung over a trash bin on the Tabb bench.

“I don’t know what happened,” Tabb coach Jason Clarke said. “I told her maybe she scored too many points, and that’s what made her sick.”
