Tribe sophomore Bell wins NPSL title with Cleveland side; Tarpey signs pro deal

William and Mary men's soccer sophomore Ryder Bell helped AFC Cleveland to the National Premier Soccer League championship over the weekend.

Cleveland won its first league title in its fifth year as a club with a 4-2 win over Sonoma County Sol FC 4-2.

Bell scored the final goal in extra time and finished the summer season with two goals and four points.

The Moreland Hills, Ohio native was an all-rookie selection last fall in the Colonial Athletic Association. He tied for the Tribe team lead with seven goals, added three assists and 17 points.
