After losing their first five games of the season, the King William Cavaliers are finally back on track, winning their first two Tidewater District games of the season, including a 55-20 romp over Mathews Friday during Homecoming.
“I couldn’t be prouder of our seniors,” King William Coach Dyan DeHart said. “That group is used to winning, but they continued to work hard during some difficult times and kept this team together. We still have a lot of work to do, but I think we are headed in the right direction.”
The Cavaliers took the opening kickoff Friday and marched down the field.
