Murphy gets 100th baseball victory; Powers selected CAA Pitcher of Week

William and Mary (13-10, 1-2 Colonial Athletic Association) won 10-9 at UNC Wilmington to gain one victory in the three-game series.

It was Brian Murphy's 100th victory as the Tribe's head coach. Ryder Miconi and Kyle Wrighte paced the Tribe's 13-hit attack with a home run each.

Sophomore Zach Pearson notched a 3-for-3 effort to go along with a run and an RBI. Senior Charles Ameer had two hits, while juniors Ryan Hall and Cullen Large drove in a pair of runs.

W&M held leads of 7-2 and 10-4 but yielded a five-run seventh as UNCW pulled within a run. But Daniel Powers came on to earn his first career save to help him earn CAA Pitcher of the Week honors.
