Fierce Frantz brought more than skills to field for Jamestown girls soccer

Having a player that can read a game like Page Frantz is not an annual occurrence for the Jamestown girls soccer program, or many other teams for that matter.

The soccer IQ and tenacity of Frantz, the 2017 Virginia Gazette Girls Soccer Player of the Year, set her apart. She normally played defensive midfielder for the Eagles but tallied 12 goals and five assists this season, a testament to the trust coaches Michelle and Kevin Dawson place in the William and Mary-bound star player that earned first-team all-state honors in addition to being named player of the year in Conference 18 and the Group 4A East Region.
