William and Mary grinds out win against Old Dominion

WILLIAMSBURG – Good basketball teams tend to find ways to win different types of games, from the track meets to the bruising defensive battles like the one William and Mary found itself in on Tuesday against Old Dominion.

The Tribe won, 55-48, in a way it hadn’t since 1991: without a single made 3-pointer. William and Mary (5-2) missed all 15 of its attempts from beyond the arc after connecting for at least 10 triples in each of the previous three contests.
