Williamsburg Christian's Greene named VISAA DIII Player of Year

Cle'von Greene, who led Williamsburg Christian Academy to the VISAA Division III state boys basketball championship, was named state player of the year in that division. His coach, Chris Brown, was voted the coach of the year.

Greene, a 6-foot-2-inch junior who averaged 25.7 points, 9.5 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 3.1 steals in leading the Eagles to a 26.8 mark, was joined on the all-state first team by guard Da'Shawn Cook (14.9 ppg, 3.4 apg, 2.8 spg), while Eagles center Chester Makoi (11.9 ppg, 7.4 rpg) made the second team.
