Tribe runners shatter Crapolfest 5K records

Last weekend was a mixed bag for Smithfield High School teacher Todd Kessler of Newport News, who is a two-time Colonial Road Runners men's overall Grand Prix champion (2011 and '13).

On the one hand, at the seventh annual Crapolfest 5K Run/Walk, he saw his course record destroyed in the William and Mary soccer scholarship fund benefit race as well as his undefeated status at Crapolfest when five W&M mens runners showed up to sweep the top-five spots before Kessler crossed the finish line.
