Rams cap perfect week under new girls soccer coach by beating Poquoson

JAMES CITY - Michelle McClallen ended her first week as Lafayette head girls soccer coach unbeaten.

The Rams rolled by Poquoson 2-0 Friday night at Wanner Stadium and improved to 3-0 under their new coach following the abrupt resignation of Derek D’Arcy, who was in his first season at the helm of the program.

On Thursday, D'Arcy praised Lafayette's coaches and administrators, but said he just didn’t enjoy the job.

Lafayette improved to 4-3 overall following wins earlier in the week over Grafton and Bethel.
