Grasso goal puts W&M women's soccer back in win column

Sami Grasso scored off Rachel Moore's corner kick in the 80th minute Sunday to lift William and Mary (8-6, 2-3 Colonial Athletic Association) to a 1-0 victory at Hofstra (7-7-1, 1-5) in Hempstead, N.Y.

After snapping a three-game skid, William and Mary hosts Delaware 7 p.m. Friday and Drexel 2 p.m. Sunday.

Men's soccer

William and Mary (6-4-2, 1-2-2) will close a two-match road trip at Elon on Wednesday.

The Tribe lost 2-1 at Hofstra Saturday.
