Forest Braden was announced as the new William and Mary men’s cross country coach on Thursday, joining the Tribe from UCLA.
Braden will also serve as an assistant coach during the indoor and outdoor track seasons under director of track and field and cross country Alex Heacock.
Braden coached distance runners at UCLA for the last eight seasons, helping the Bruins to six NCAA Cross Country Championships appearances. Braden’s runners earned 16 All-America honors in the past six seasons.
