Jamestown's Darber wins 126-pound Ram Rumble title, improves to 28-1

JAMES CITY - Pound for pound, Jamestown's Caden Darber may be the best high school wrestler in the immediate area.

"That's my opinion," said Jamestown coach Richard Pennycuff. "And if you ask a majority of the coaches, a lot of them I think would tell you the same thing."

Darber didn't do anything to cause anyone to think differently at Lafayette's Ram Rumble. The sophomore claimed the tournament title Saturday night at 126 pounds and improved to 28-1 on the season.

Darber's lone loss this season came at 132 pounds against a Brooke Pointe High School wrestler.
