Cleanup wraps up in Williamsburg area in Hurricane Matthew's wake

Work crews are wrapping up problems created by Hurricane Matthews when it brought rains and winds to the Historic Triangle Saturday and Sunday. Most Dominion customers still without power can expect their power to be restored by Monday night, and road issues are mostly confined to minor flooding in some areas.

About 1,600 residences in the area were still without power at around 10:30 a.m. on Monday, according to Dominion Power's website. York County has the largest share at 1,187 customers still in the dark, Williamsburg has 107 customers out, and James City County has 350 customers without power.
