Emergency responders will conduct a tornado drill Tuesday, a little over a year after tornadoes wreaked havoc on portions of the state.
As part of a statewide tornado drill on March 21 , the National Weather Service and the National Oceanographic and Atmospheric Administration will send alerts to weather radios.
The 9:45 a.m. alerts mimic what people would see and hear if under a tornado warning. Televisions will broadcast a message of their own via an emergency alert system.
