King William County Public Schools’ bus number 25 was involved in a minor accident en route to Hamilton-Holmes Middle School on Tuesday morning, according to the school division.

According to a Facebook post by KWCPS, there were no reported injuries and law enforcement and medical personnel were on the scene.

Another school bus was dispatched to take the students to school, according to KWCPS.

KWCPS Superintendent David White said that the bus and a truck swiped mirrors on a back road on the way to the middle school.

“There were students on board, none of them were injured,” White said. "They were checked out by emergency services and when they arrived to the school they were checked out by the school nurse.”

This story will be updated when more information becomes available.
