King William High Air Force JROTC attends Air Force Ball

King William High School Air Force JROTC attended the annual Greater Richmond Air Force JROTC Military Ball on Feb. 17, at Atlee High School in Hanover County.

The King William students were led by Group Cmdr. Cadet Col. Jacob Duresky and Vice Cmdr. Cadet Lt. Col. Chase Fletcher, who are both seniors.

More than 150 cadets from King William, Atlee, Deep Run and Lancaster high schools attended the event, which is held to embrace the tradition and fun associated with the function and to bring together high schools Air Force JROTC programs throughout the greater Richmond area.

Air Force JROTC is guided by instructors Col. (Ret.) McNulty and Chief (Ret.) Winstead. The program is an aerospace and leadership education elective curriculum for students in grades 9-12.
