Stacy St. Clair

Stacy St. Clair joined the Chicago Tribune as a general assignment reporter in 2007. Before that she covered local government for the Daily Herald in suburban Chicago. She also has worked for the Dayton Daily News and The Topeka Capital-Journal. Her work has been honored by Harvard University’s Nieman Foundation, the National Headliner Awards, the Society for Professional Journalists and the Hearst Foundation, among others. Stacy has a bachelor's of journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia, with minors in American politics and Spanish.  She was once called an extremely unflattering (and unprintable) name by the guy who played Cooky the Clown on Bozo’s Circus and still hasn’t really gotten over it.
