Overnight and morning thunderstorms and showers will give way to partly sunny skies on Thursday, according to the National Weather Service.
Temperatures are forecast to reach about 84 degrees, lower than Wednesday thanks to the passing of a cold front. There is a 20 percent chance of showers before 11 a.m. and a northeast wind of six to 10 miles per hour in the forecast as well.
High pressure will build north of the area Thursday and Friday, the NWS says, which will keep things relatively clear on Friday. Temperatures are anticipated to reach the mid-80s.
