Unfair to project Sanatan Sanstha and Hindu Janajagruti Samiti as guilty

From National Spokesperson- Sanatan Sanstha----

The police have filed supplementary charge-sheet in the Gauri Lankesh murder case and some sections
of the media have already started projecting that Sanatan Sanstha has been named in the same. We have not received a copy of the charge-sheet and hence it is not appropriate for us to put forward our stand in this matter. None accused arrested so far, in this case, is an office-bearer of either the Sanatan Sanstha or the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti and yet a conspiracy seems to have been hatched to blame the Sanstha. Sanatan Sanstha has been targeted thus, several times in the past and each time has been proved to be innocent. The national spokesperson of the Sanstha Shri Chetan Rajhans has stated that it would be unfair to presume Sanatan Sanstha to be guilty.

We have always offered full co-operation to the investigating agencies in cases of killings of the so called
'intellectuals'. No evidence has been found so far to indicate the Sanstha to be involved in any of these
cases. In spite of the above, certain so-called 'progressives' are creating a shrill campaign saying that Sanatan has committed murders. In the Gauri Lankesh murder case, a person who has stopped being an activist of the Hindu Janajagruti Samiti 10 years back has been arrested and an impression is sought to be created as if he is associated with HJS currently. Is this not a conspiracy to malign the Sanstha?

Even if the Sanstha has been named in the charge-sheet, it does not automatically mean that it is actually guilty. Hence, we will respond in detail only after receiving a copy of the supplementary charge-sheet.
