York seeks residents for equalization board.

The York County Board of Supervisors is taking applications from county residents to fill vacancies on the Board of Equalization. The BOE meets on an as needed basis and is tasked with hearing and considering a taxpayer’s appeal of their property’s real estate assessment as determined by the county’s real estate assessor, according to a statement from county officials.

Applications can be obtained at the county administrator’s office, 224 Ballard St. in Yorktown, by calling 890-3320 or visiting yorkcounty.gov and click on Online Services, then Boards/Commissions, and Board Bank Application.
