6 Jewish Film Festival presents ‘An Act of Defiance’: A film about a Jewish lawyer risking his career and family to defend Nelson Mandela and nine others who face a possible death sentence in South Africa in 1963. 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the Williamsburg Regional Library, 515 Scotland St. Free.

5 Footsteps in History: Follow the footsteps of Native Americans, colonists, pirates, enslaved African Americans, abolitionists and more as the puppets of Rainbow Puppets tell the story of the Virginia Peninsula. 1 p.m. Saturday at the Williamsburg Regional Library, 515 Scotland St. Free.

4 16th annual High School Student Show: This show features artwork by students from seven area schools: Bruton, Jamestown, Lafayette and Warhill High Schools; Providence Classical School, Walsingham Academy and Williamsburg Christian Academy.
