The League of Women Voters is holding the Great Decisions lecture series at the Williamsburg Regional Library on Tuesday mornings starting Feb. 7.

Registrations are open and will be until the Library Theater is sold out. Those who want to buy tickets to a specific lecture can do so on the day of the program for $10. The lectures themselves will start at 10:30 a.m. and go until noon.

Doris Margulies is a member of the League of Women Voters and is involved in lining up speakers for the series. The process, she said, is pretty simple.

“We look around and try to find the people who have the most knowledge,” she said.”The Foreign Policy Association chooses the eight topics. If the subject is Korea, maybe we find someone who lived in Korea, or even someone who worked for the State Department.”
