The Williamsburg Invitational Car Show will take to Merchants Square for its ninth year Sunday. The event, sponsored by Colony Auto Enthusiasts, features 50 cars from more than 25 manufacturers, from 1930s classics to cutting edge new releases.

Colonial Williamsburg’s Wythe chariot, a stagecoach built in 1825, will be on display alongside more recent creations like a Tesla Model S and the 2017 Alfa Romeo Giulia.

Bentley is the featured carmaker, with a myriad of coupes, roadsters and convertibles on display. Their recently announced 2017 Bentayga SUV will make an appearance as well. Other vehicles include a Morgan 3-Wheeler, a 1942 Army Jeep, and additional member and guest cars.

A quiz game will challenge children and their parents to learn about the show’s cars in hopes of winning prizes.

The show benefits RIDES, a nonprofit group that provides non-emergency medical transportation for seniors and disabled individuals. The organization will have a tent at the event in an effort to educate guests about the services offered and to accept donations.

The show runs from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday in Merchants Square. It is free and open to the public.
