Events

Songs for a Dreamer: The Virginia Symphony Orchestra honors the Civil Rights leader with a dedicated concert. 7 p.m. Sunday at Calvary Revival Church, 5833 Poplar Hall Drive, Norfolk. Free.

YJCW NAACP Luncheon: The NAACP branch covering Williamsburg, James City and York counties is using the holiday as an opportunity to host a luncheon to celebrate local high school schools finding success in the classroom and the community. 3 p.m. Sunday at the Williamsburg Lodge. Tickets are $40 or $15 for children, available at /bit.ly/2mu09Os.

A Multicultural Celebration of Music, Song and Dance: Accordion Renaissance presents a performing arts tribute to diversity and a variety of cultures. 3:30 p.m. Sunday at the Williamsburg Regional Library. Free; $10 donation suggested.
