Building on last year’s success, the Williamsburg Symphonia will present its second annual Cabaret & Cocktails Pops Concert at 8 p.m. on Jan. 23.

“The audience is in for a real treat this year,” wrote music director Janna Hymes, in a prepared release.

Response to the inaugural Cabaret & Cocktails concert prompted the Symphonia to continue reaching out to local pops and jazz enthusiasts. Well-connected in the music world, Hymes extended personal invitations to the guest artists of this year’s concert.

The orchestra will be joined by jazz vocalist Tish Oney, Broadway singer Tiffany Haas and Brett Cahoon, lead singer of Good Shot Judy, in a program of great American standards by Mancini, Gershwin, Ellington, Armstrong, Cahn and more.

Guest instrumentalists include Mike Monoghan on saxophone, Rex Richardson playing jazz trumpet and Russell Wilson on piano.

All tickets are for table seating. The Symphonia recommends purchasing tickets early, as the event is likely to sell out.

At the concert, the Symphonia will also sell raffle tickets for two season subscriptions to the 2016-2017 Masterworks Concert Series.

At 2 p.m. on Jan. 24, the Symphonia will host a vocal masterclass with Haas, who has played Glinda in the Broadway production and national tour of “Wicked.” The location will be announced later.
