With the advent of autumn comes the return of Yorktown’s annual Fall Festival at Riverwalk Landing Oct. 13.

A special iteration of Yorktown Market Days, the festival features children’s activities such as face painting, pumpkin decorating, hayrides and more. It also includes seasonal favorites such as pumpkins, caramel apples and kettle corn available for purchase.

The event also incorporates live music from acoustic guitarist Phil Poteat alongside cooking demonstrations led by chefs from Water Street Grille and Larry’s Alehouse and Deli.

The market’s usual offerings also return, with artists selling paintings, photographs, jewelry and more alongside vendors with meat, homemade breads and other goods.

The Fall Festival runs from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 13 at Riverwalk Landing. Admission is free. For more information and a complete schedule, visit yorktownmarketdays.com.
