The "Rhine" was host to the Swans of the Garden as well as to some wild life visitors , Virginia's Mallards. We enjoyed the river scene from one of the Garden's cruise boats.

Das Festhaus a 2,000 capacity beer hall was officially opened at the Old Country in Busch Gardens Williamsburg, Fifty thousand balloons were released to commemorate the occasion. The German style hall, was part of a multi-million dollar addition during 1976.

Riding the cable car, we hoped to see a lot of Busch Gardens to help us plan to select some more good spots to visit. We did . In 1970, the four of us rode a German "Seilbahn" atop the Feldberg Mountain in the Black Forest.
