Dirty floor? Mop the worst spots by hand.
Let's start from the ground up - literally. When it comes to cleaning the bathroom floor, Mops don't do the best job, especially when trying to get around the tough corners. Rather than struggle squeezing the mop head in the gaps, do the small areas by hand. This way you will be able to properly clean around the toilet and behind the sink - places which gather a lot of filth. a good job cleaning around the base of or behind the toilet, so do this small area by hand. If you're potty training boys, you might want to use an old scrub brush around the base of the toilet, too. When that's all clean, switch to a mop.
How to reduce streaks on mirrors
Something we all have in the bathroom is a mirror. The bigger the better, we say! To avoid them unsightly streaks, when cleaning your mirrors, give them a quick dusting first. If your mirror is tall, start from the top to the bottom and always use a glass cleaning product. If you have any available, we'd recommend a microfiber cloth. It will help to wave goodbye to them streaks.
Washing plastic shower curtains
If you have a plastic shower curtain in your bathroom, you will already be aware of how dirty they can get in such a short amount of time. Rather than struggling to wash it by hand, simply put the shower curtain in the washing machine with a small towel. The towel will help to scrub away any tough dirt. Just make sure you don't put the shower curtain in the dyer. Always hand it out to dry.
Cleaning your walls and ceilings
The walls and ceilings of a bathroom can gather insane amounts of dust. But, the solution is really simple. We recommend investing in an extension duster. This way you can really reach the corners of the ceilings, without the need of a step ladder or breaking your back. A small purchase, which will save you plenty of time.
The bathroom is used a lot, so, it's expected to get dirty from time to time. But, if you keep up with the cleaning, you will save yourself time and pride. No longer will you have to hold your breath when somebody asks to use your bathroom.
