On Sunday, August 26, 2018, Delegate Mike Mullin presented Apostle Corwin Hammond, Sr. of CBC World Ministry with a signed copy of Resolution 399, which commended the Historic Triangle Community Covenant. This Covenant serves as an agreement between local law enforcement departments and the African American communities of Williamsburg, York County, and James City County. It was designed to reaffirm their commitment to fostering an atmosphere of unity, respect, understanding and cooperation and was signed on May 19, 2017 at the Williamsburg Library. Apostle Hammond, with the help of his ministry, was instrumental in the creation of the covenant as well as organizing all of the details that went into the actual signing. During the presentation, Delegate Mike Mullin expressed his sincere gratitude for Apostle Hammond's hard work and dedication to community service.
