Car Club Raises awareness and $1,000 for Parkinson's Disease

The Classic Cruisers Car Club of Yorktown, VA teamed up with the Williamsburg Antique Mall for a "Show & Shine" Car show to raise awareness and collected $1,000 in donations for the Hampton Roads Chapter of the American Parkinson's Disease Foundation (APDF) on Sunday June 23. Representatives from The Hampton Roads Chapter APDF, Rock Steady Boxing and Comber Physical Therapy Williamsburg , and WMBG joined us in the event. Over 70 cars, trucks and motorcycles were on the show field at the Williamsburg Antique Mall during the event to the enjoyment of the many shoppers at the Mall and visitors to the Historic Triangle. One of the cars drove all the way from Elizabeth City, NC and we had a visitor from Florida.!

Linda Crane of Yorktown, Car Club Member and Donna Magoon, Hampton Roads Chapter Administrator-APDA welcomed participants and collected donations.
