DAR Presents Good Citizen Award

The Williamsburg Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution presented the Good Citizen Award to Bailey Ward from Walsingham Academy located in Williamsburg. This award is given to an outstanding member of the senior class who demonstrates the qualities of a good citizen including good character, dependability, service leadership and patriotism. The topic of this year's essay was "How has American advanced the cause of freedom in the rest of the world?" Pictured left to right are Good Citizen Committee Chair Nancy O'Reardon, winner Bailey Ward and Chapter Regent Sydney Riddle.
